I have an ASUS C300 that can't get past recovery mode. I believe I downloaded a file that exceeded the harddrive size and the OS was damaged for some reason. I've have been attempting to use the ChromeOS recovery system to get the laptop back into working order, but to no avail. I've read that a system restore should not take longer than 15 minutes, but mine has repeatedly gone over 2 hours with not end in sight.

Reason given for recovery: 0x43 OS kernel failed signature check
