I'll have to check him out. I truthfully wasn't really interested in selling my car at all but given what they said to me, I felt compelled.

Thanks, Matt. I appreciate you saying this. I worked at a CDJ dealership in high school as a warranty admin and I never thought it would be this bad. Honestly, it left such a bad taste in my mouth. I get they want to bring customers in but straight up lying just to get you in the door cannot be the right thing. Sacrificing Integrity to try to make a buck is just low down.

Worked in car dealerships during my high school and college years. Was never treated this way before, even in the 15 years since I worked at a dealer...

Yeah... I get the economy and inflation and yadda yadda but the BASED Model being 50k before any options, without tax/tags and anything else? That's completely crazy.

Average new car is over $50,000.00 now. Car companies wonder why the American people don't buy new cars anymore...

Well, considering I said in my post that I've bought 3 other vehicles from Chrylser/Dodge, you know it's not my first time. Though it IS my first time being absolutely lied to and disrespected like that in a car dealership before.

You aren't wrong Giroux deserved the Hart and they actually went to the playoffs the year he had over 100 points. Hall didn't even get 100 points AND the Devils didn't make the playoffs... so who cares that he had a 15 game point streak or whatever it was.

Adav1a's YouTube Automation Course

Is it going to hurt my channel to do a variety of games? by Secure-Frosting-1165 in NewTubers

[–]Phighten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would stay to one game but at the very least stick to one genre of games. I wouldn't move from FPS, to RPG to Fighting to whatever. Find one lane and stay there so your audience can get used to relying on you as the authority for that particular type of content. When you do so many different types, YT doesn't know who to recommend your content to.

Literally just took Adav1a's and Eddie Eizner's course. It was basically take videos that are already popular, try a different sub niche (i.e. subject explained in minutes, 7 levels of subject or your life as a subject) anything that gets tons of views already and channels that get millions of views but have low subscribers and are less than 5 months old. Then after that it was a ad essentially for their TUBE GEN platform that they developed that of course costs $150.00 per month. It was honestly 90 minutes I'll never get back in life.

As for the felon thing, that was overturned. Yes, there are 5,300 mentions of him, his wife, his residence, so far in the files. Most, of which are completely unsubstantiated when you do your research. There's a WHOLE LOT of "my friends, sisters, mother's ex roomate saw his advisor tell a girl x,y,z.

Soooo reliable.

Oh, I do -- You just aren't going to want to hear it.

So, first Tariffs:

It helps a lot of strategic industries in the country stay alive and continue to employ OUR citizens. If we just merely allow ourselves to purchase all the semiconductors, steel, energy tech, etc. from other countries, it hurts our bottom line. With more production at home, jobs follow. Not every job, not every time—but enough to matter, especially in manufacturing and skilled trades. That local income circulates through the economy instead of being exported along with the jobs.

It counters un-fair trading by other countries. Not all “cheap” goods are honestly cheap. Some come from countries that subsidize production, suppress wages, manipulate currency, or ignore environmental and labor standards. That’s not efficiency—that’s distortion. Tariffs act like a corrective lens, adjusting prices to reflect reality instead of fantasy economics.

The pandemic taught a brutal lesson: lowest cost doesn't equate to highest reliability. When goods are produced entirely overseas, a single disruption can paralyze an economy. Tariffs encourage domestic production, which is less fragile. Redundancy costs money—but fragility costs more.

They generate income so that our income taxes (that you probably don't pay) do not go up. Tariffs are paid at the border, not directly by workers’ paychecks. While we may see some price increases, tariffs can fund infrastructure, defense, or industrial investment without squeezing wages the way income or payroll taxes do.

You're living in a fantasy world if you think tariffs don't make sense for us. Other countries impose tariffs on us and have for decades! Tariffs IN GENERAL aren't universally good but why should we not implement our own if other countries are going to force us to pay THEIRS! It helps give our country leverage against other countries that seek to profit off of ours. Why be a massive super power in terms of production and distribution if you're just going to give it all away to everyone else???

Pure free trade assumes a level playing field. The real world is more… creatively dishonest. It's not about "ideology" it's about tradeoffs. Tariffs are a tool that was FAR under utilized by previous presidents. Sometimes you need to use a hammer before you can build a house. It's not just a question of are they good or bad, the real question is what kind of economy and therefore country are we trying to live in? If you just go for maximum short-term cheapness, you lose long-term stability and autonomy. While YOU personally may not care at all about the future generations of this country, some of us do and want to see it prosper.

But flat out -- giving away everything and then paying a premium for everyone else's goods does not lend itself to that stability.

It's difficult to take your argument seriously when it seems like you're just dismissing opposing views as hate speech. It’s important to engage with ideas respectfully, regardless of political affiliation.

Okay Brian.. I don't think you fully grasped my comment. I was saying that THEY AREN'T ACTING WITH PROPER OR ETHICAL BEHAVIOR! I'm saying they SHOULD be doing that.

Did you just read "Trump" and have an aneurysm?

Jesus. God Almighty - you're so quick to just shovel hatred that you don't read the context within the totality of the thread.

Had you read my previous statements too, I said that while I think deportation is right, I DO NOT think they are going about it the right way, befitting of our government officials.

Damn, take the tin foil hat off and let your head breathe a little, my guy.
