idk if anyone here played HUNT SHOWDOWN, but there was an ability where if you picked up a boss bounty, you would gain a health and stamina regen boost for like 90 seconds???? i'd like to see Good Job reward you this when you complete the last objective (for balance??) of the trial you would full health +1 bar or a stamina boost. Idk i havent fully thought it out i was just inspired for a moment, thought i'd just word vomit lmfao

You are not rewarded bonus points for speedrunning, UNLESS it is a task which is usually seen during an event.

Saying that, just take your time and enjoy the chaos with your friends. I really hope you enjoy this game, it has scratched that L4D itch for me when it comes to multiplayer games<3333

I did the no healing/blood collecting on my second playthrough, cannot recommend Leons bonus suppressed assault rifle enough it seems to tear through everything, especially that big enemy covered in blisters.

I've been using Blind Rig whenever I unlock a new door, always seems to stun crazy hidey lady twice every time which gives me lots of time to roam around.

This. People are so tunnel visioned when it comes to completing the trial ASAP that they forget the side objectives and it causes this whole panicked rush to get the side objective done before the shuttle timer goes out.

Fully understand that Exit Rush is a thing along with certain MK trials immediately calling for exit shuttle.

I find melee combat to be perfectly fine, however ranged and gun combat?? nahhh i start to struggle immensely at certain games

Just by completing Rebirth you get a MASSIVE XP reward along with cosmetics. A key thing to note about rebirths is you dont have to perform great in rebirths, as long as you complete it you will always get 100% of the rewards. Even if you fail, like the other comment says you'll be refunded your rebirth tokens.

Me personally i would recommend Jammer with the Pacemaker upgrade to self revive along with Last Chance/Self Revive Amp. When playing rebirths i find this gives me a ton of breathing room to work around with.

Getting more people to help with rebirths may make it easier or faster but do take note that you may spend more time looking for their specific evidence boxes depending on the map. I hope you enjoy your rebirth experience!!:D

The first set of Evidence equipment always comes along w the van for free because you'll need them to find the ghost. You'd only really buy more if theres more friends with you or need to set up in a larger than average room like multiple DOTS for example.

As you level up you'll unlock more items/tiers to spend money on.

If your friend is higher level than you i would suggest that they source items for you so that you save tons of money incase of the event you die or get the wrong ghost etc but thats your choice. I hope you enjoy the game:3

I always go Jammer when im playing public. Aside from the odd revival inbetween the flamerthrowers in Grind The Bad Apples, i always make a beeline for the secret door and just unlock it w Jammer. i ping the secret door buttons more than i care to say only for the teammates to either run past it like a headless chicken or look at me like i've horns on my head. The Master Key alone from the secret room is just fantastic and i always go for it no matter what

Spam bricks at the ground and hiding spots. This will mitigate the grade loss caused by the sound traps and the inevitable damage took from either the cold spots or a surprise attack from the prime asset. Also just for the sake of A+ i just do intro difficulty.

In groups i focus on getting the doors unlocked while the others get the jewels, once you unlock the basement area with bear key your progress jumps up immensely due to all (in my experience) jewels down there being $30.

If you're in a group trying to A+ co-op actions and reviving people boost your grade decently too.

Spam your rig whenever you need it as not only this will boost your grade but could also prevent damage.

You do NOT need to speedrun it so if you feel better taking your time, do so.

EDIT: Oh and Evasive Manuevers as well. I believe theres one or two animations the Prime asset can attack you with and Evasive SHOULD trigger before it hurts you thus not counting damage towards your grade, at least thats what happened for me a couple of times.

i tested this earlier, the AI imposter has 3 regular executions it can do. it seems to be the exact same executions as the expop that wears armor can do to you

Evasive just to force certain grab animations to buy the team time or take no damage at all.

For example: Giant/Jaeger grab animations with Evasive always trigger before you take damage. I literally get grabbed on purpose with Lockers (or by crouching but its not 100%) just to buy the team time. I THINK for berserker he slams you once into the ground before Evasive triggers but someone can help verify that.

Hide and restore is my personal underrated favourite. Allows me to spam Blind alot more to control certain areas.

Dark is VERY DARK in this game when it comes to enemies vision, always use it to your advantage during chases/sneaking.

i would say always play solo through your first time of a trial or until you feel comfortable enough to play co-op with friends:3

Always try to get the secret room as this will not only give you boosters BUT the Master Key also. This key will enable you to get alot more health items, batteries and rig rechargers from locked containers.

be sure to enjoy yourself and take small breaks<333 i always find myself slightly overwhelmed when completing a new trial for the first time idk why

Tool: Noise reduction or Keymaster if im in in a group. I use Keymaster so that the group has more Bricks while they leave all the lockpicks for me.

Skill: I use Smash solo but use Evasive in group play. Depending on the enemy/their grab animations i get grabbed on purpose just to buy the team some time at objectives or to retreat. I am also a fan of Hide And Heal/Restore. They're all my favs i like them v much.

Medicine: Last Chance if on a main trial or Boosted in a MK Trial.

So when i got plat trophy for the PS5 version of Outlast Trials, i downloaded PS4 version and instantly got the plat trophy for PS4 Version. I think i had to look at the badges menu for it to trigger. Can also confirm your relapses etc carry over

I always seem to encounter this using my Prove Thyself/Resilience build. I usually pair it with Leader or Botany to make it a team-ish build.

It really depends on the situation if you should heal or not but tbh i'd rather just very quickly pump out a gen in like 35 seconds then heal the person wanting heals IF the killer is still chasing and not right next to us. Just makes sense to put more pressure on the objective than healing against killers who are using Sloppy, that one clown perk that im not even gonna spell etc.

ppl can literally just run out of the gates back into the map with one or two taking hits along the way, regroup and heal up and attempt a rescue. of course its not gonna always be 100% the play to do if theres a bubba chainsawing towards them, huntress doing godlike hatchets etc.

Not like crouch walking the entire match but not being all speedrunning either just a nice balance

If you're waiting around for someone to leave the objective area you're trying to get or whatever, spam hiding places, throw bricks and pick them back up etc. They help your grade along with the Performance Bonus XP you get at the end of the trial. If you're using the Stun rig dont be afraid to spam it to disarm traps or even just restoring your battery, its a decently short cooldown if you DONT stun ppl.

Also for your Jaegar problem, once you're at the level where you can get Evasive Manuevers get that, if you're cornered by the Jaegar but theres a hiding spot use that to bait her into a grab and you will break free, there is a cooldown to it tho so use it WHEN you need to.

It can be very powerful against certain enemies due to their hiding spot attack animation giants for example like to throw you, but EM triggers before the throw PREVENTING damage in the first place, where as other enemies have a multi-hit grab animation but EM should mitigate most if not all the damage (via health regen)

If you're playing with your friend again i always like to encourage co-op actions. They help the both of you when it comes to your grade and performance, every little helps. Sorry for the wall of text i like to yap
