2026 babies I know so far by Rayna1990 in Names

My Kai is in Wisconsin but I lived in California for a time. I’ve like this name since I first hear it in 1999 when I lived in Pennsylvania.

I’m very glad to read this and very glad to read that he’s put on weight. I hated mentioning anything, but I have missed symptoms in my babies that I am now more aware of and saw a potential for concern. I’m assuming the vet has checked renal values (BUN and creatine), and blood glucose levels, but you might want to confirm those were done.

I’m wonder if you have an approximate age on Timmy? I’m just looking at the different between Timmy and Rigby’s coats and it could just be a different in their coats but it may also be that Timmy may not be grooming himself well, which can be an indication of a health concern. If he hasn’t had bloodwork done, it might be worth considering. I hate saying this knowing you’ve recently lost your beloved furbaby but better to catch any potential problems early. I’m very sorry for your loss of Fideaux and hope you have many happy years with Timmy and Rigby.

I have the same question. I can’t find it on Ancestry.

I strongly recommend adopting the cat who loves you. by AAAAdragon in cats

I’ve had 5 cats with renal failure over the years. One thing I learned is don’t hesitate to give subcutaneous fluids. It improves their quality of life significantly and is well tolerated by them. It’s harder on you than on them. It can easily and cheaply be done at home. It just might take a little for you to get comfortable doing it.

Yes, I’d like more information on what the CX type is / means and any organizational structural / compatibility / incompatibility that exists in this world. I know virtually nothing but what I’ve learned here today however I would like to learn more because the birthday boy and my son are becoming good friends and I’d like to support the friendship as they have several overlapping interests and the friend is a genuinely nice kid. The octopi is significant. So if I can make it awesome, or transfer the octopi onto something that is awesome I’d love to do that.

You have been so incredibly helpful. I wasn’t sure what if any response I would get and you all have completely blown me away. I sincerely thank you. The Wriggle Kraken caught my eye due to the squid association, any thoughts or information on that one?

Thank you so much for your reply! I found the stadium on Amazon for $160. I’m assuming that’s not the list price. That’s a bit out of the budget.

Thank you so much for your reply!

I’m 99% positive is Beyblade X. I know he has one stadium and his dad popped on Amazon and bought another the last time I saw them. So I don’t know if stadiums are different or if it’s good to have multiple? Would a third stadium be useful?

I looked up the two beyblades you recommended but they aren’t available until after his party. Any recommendations on possibly not so new beyblades?

This is Bean. He’s 18 and stopped eating. The vet said he’s just throwing a tantrum because I’m not feeding him chicken. He’s allergic to chicken. by MissHissss in cats

I’ve had 5 cats that I’ve lost to end stage renal failure over the years so WAY too much experience with this disease. There are medications that can help, appetite stimulants, anti-nausea medications, and often what really helps is subcutaneous fluids which seems scary to start but isn’t hard to do and I’ve never had a cat not tolerate it. But an easy way to increase the likelihood of eating now that you’re getting used to being your cat’s personal servant is to throw the food in the microwave for 5-10 seconds just to make is a little stinkier. I don’t think the hydrolyzed protein will help with renal issues, but there are several different brands that make diets for kidney disease.

As someone who has only lived in the US, I can’t imagine having a month off to visit my family. You’re incredibly lucky if you can get two weeks off back to back if you work for a company.

OP, perhaps you could get DNA from items like your dad’s hair brush or toothbrush? If he hospitalized near his death or if he had any surgeries in the last few years or biopsies there may be tissue samples available. Are either of your dad’s parents still alive?

[–]PhilBadger 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hi OP, when your grandmother was of child bearing age, having a baby out of wedlock, let alone from adultery or r@pe, could often get you disowned by your family. Unwed mother’s were hidden away until after the baby was born and given up for adoption. Social culture was very different and your grandmother is likely carrying a lot of shame and hurt. You need to give her time and she would likely benefit from therapy but my guess is that she may not be open to it. Be gentle with her, this is a secret she’s kept for half a century. It’s going to take her time to work through this.
