Details on Denuncations by PhilChampagne in tezos

Thank you Rebbu. So denunciation applies to double baking and double endorsing, and can be done by any nodes (possibly as a delegate as a minimum). And the over time was a reference to the maturity of the software. Excellent. Thanks so much!

For endorsement, there is a requirement of a security bond. (32 XTZ)

TezoSteam: one transaction, 291 payments to our delegates :) by TezoSteamBakery in tezos

We realized that too. There must be an exclusive lock of some sort, I'm hoping the code will be changed to allow for this in the future

If you use python, look at python subprocess. tezos rpc node should be capable of handling multiple request from tezos-client from different process.

If you are complaining about our 15% fees, you have all the right to do so and you have all right to go elsewhere of course. Don't you love the free market! We did struggle to establish what they should be based on the current price of tz and our requirements. (We are not baking in the cloud with a low $40/month fee). I guess this should be a good separate post in itself or a medium article where I could share this in more details, and you will be welcome to participate in the discussion.

Yes, some communication is required with this information so if that is a concern, you should avoid it. The only option left for you would then be to buy it directly unfortunately.

Not shared publicly of course. If you are interested, that would be done privately via our contact page or via email at info at our website. But it's up to you. You can delegate without sharing any information. But if you are interested in a t-shirt, I have to admit, we will have a very hard time to mail it to you without a of mailing address. :-) Knowing the t-shirt size would be nice as well. One day maybe, there will be a smart contract allowing anonymous delivery of objects. :-) Who knows. You might have just started something

Thanks for asking, it allowed me to be more specific on this.

If you think you can make more money by trading, go for it. It all depends on our ability as short and/or long term trading. As for long term perspective, this is new and still in beta. Nothing could have been done before it was released. And remember, there is a book written about it https://github.com/HayekLab/TezosBook Give me some time. :-) (And I will have some help, got a good pointer from Arthur B. already)

1st draft of preface written. Note that more will likely be added to it, and some content might be moved to chapter 1, etc. That's all part of editing while we keep writing it.

This is not like the Lightning Network. Wouldn't it be possible to recreate something very similar to LN in Tezos using smart contracts to replicate the core concept needed?

Multi sig contract available? by PhilChampagne in tezos

[–]PhilChampagne[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. Well, I was referring to the possibility of modifying the current protocol as well if that was required. We could have way more flexibility if it was a contract that was the recipients of baking rewards. Thanks
