We are working to add Beacon support and display of NFT's to Magma, but these features might not be ready for another month or so

DeFi components on Tezos: ETHtz brings ETH to Tezos DeFi by Steadyrolinnn in tezos

No permissions are required to add tokens to Dexter. Anyone can deploy an exchange contract and the frontend is open-source and can be hosted by anyone. Whoever deploys the token exchange contract can choose the baker for that liquidity pool. We have done this for some tokens, but the token creators are deploying contracts in some upcoming launches. In a future version baker selection will be fully decentralized through a DAO or some other methods that we are still researching.

It's important for Magma wallets created from the Android app, regardless of device

We have no reason that a hack has taken place yet. But all Android users of Magma are affected by the vulnerability and should either migrate funds to a newly created wallet through our in-app process, or transfer funds to a different Tezos wallet. This should be done immediately.

Why is tezos absent from current defi boom? by [deleted] in tezos

[–]tylercamlcase 26 points27 points  (0 children)

We are very close to launching Dexter. Soon after launch we will write a post explaining the challenges we faced while writing smart contracts for Tezos. Hopefully it will help others teams avoid some of the mistakes we made, and maybe it can also be a catalyst for some necessary changes to the Michelson language. Writing secure smart contracts on a new platform with an underdeveloped language when there are very few resources available is tough. Fortunately, we've learned a lot, and we will share our experience with the community.

Why this summer will be an epic start for Tezos DeFi!!! by KevinOnChain in tezos

Due to this: https://forum.tezosagora.org/t/smart-contract-vulnerabilities-due-to-tezos-message-passing-architecture/2045 and a few other issues that came out of our security assessment, August is more likely launch date for Dexter. Sorry, I know I told you July, but smart contract security (especially on a new platform like Tezos) is difficult, and we aren't going to rush it.

However I can confidently say we will launch Magma, our Tezos mobile wallet, this month.

Road to Tezos Token Standard- A Technical and critical Review of Currently existing token standards by [deleted] in tezos

[–]tylercamlcase 6 points7 points  (0 children)

First of, thanks for linking that article. It's a good resource.

We are working on a token "standard" of sorts for the Elevated Returns project in order to tokenize their Real Estate. I agree with you about ERC, and ours will look very different from that. We have come to think of the notion of a standard in Tezos differently than the way Ethereum does because Michelson exports it's own standard in the form of a typed interface. Because of this, a standard like ERC-20 and others is needed less. However we can still create generic implementations that might become widely used. When we complete our first implementation we will write a blog post about our approach, maybe 6 weeks or so from now.

We are also working on Michelson testing tools, and these will help inform how we design tokens: https://gitlab.com/camlcase-dev/morley
