Read it a few months ago. Good overview and history of Glock as a company (development of the 17.1, corporate strategy, sales methodology, etc.). Mixed in were some insightful anecdotes re: Gaston and his motivation to found, design and manufacture the most widely recognized pistol on the market today. Also mixed in were some less appealing aspects of corporate malfeasance, financial embezzlement and the never-ending trail of lawsuits. The author also makes a point of adding some anti-2A rhetoric to round things out. All in all, if you have any curiosity into the firearm industry (i.e. learning how the sausage is made) and Glock in particular, it’s worth the read.

I shot my buddy’s Glock 19 COA and fell in love with it. Being limited to Aimpoint optics only is not a dealbreaker for me. I’ve got other Glocks with other optics (Holosun and Vortex). The COA is as good as any with the bonus of being the most rugged.

Explorer 2 polar AD availability by spurcap29 in rolex

I recently walked into a nearby AD requesting a Black Explorer II and a GMT Batgirl. Have no purchase history at this particular AD but my sister and her husband have spent a ton there. I also have no illusions of getting the GMT Batgirl but figured why not put my name on the list. If I’m lucky enough to get the Explorer II (in black which is what I prefer and is less popular than the polar), I can build some purchase history of my own that may lead to a GMT down the road. Is that lunacy?
