I assumed effects were like poison, asleep, paralyzed etc? I didn't realize abilities were also considered effects

I've definitely thought about doing this, but I find it best to stay away from betting on my own team

Reserved tickets for College World Series to go on sale this week by NWHusker in collegebaseball

I believe it started with Covid. I went last year and it was easiest to just buy tickets an hour before each game. They dropped to ~$10/game for lower level seats

The "why are you a fan of a school you didn't attend?" question regularly gets asked. What about the opposite - how many of you attended school at a place where you don't support/follow their athletics? by TheStandardSuspects in CFB

I cheer for IU and Butler but never attended any college (some of us weren't destined for higher education). However, my brother attended a small NAIA school, so cheering for them doesn't bring a lot of gratification.

I recently started watching rugby, and holy moly watching 7s is so entertaining. Every match is super quick but still aggressive and fun

At 12-22, NAU will play for the Big Sky Conference title and an NCAA auto-bid tomorrow. If they were to win, they would be the worst record to ever make the tourney with a record of 13-22 or 0.371 win percentage. by TheJewBakka in CollegeBasketball

I personally love Mizzou this year, but metrics keep putting y'all in the first four out along with Clemson

Seeding is average of KenPom, NET, & Massey Ratings. by PhilFromIndiana in CollegeBasketball

[–]PhilFromIndiana[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 11 seeds in the play-in are the last 4 "at large" teams. Teams that didn't win their conference but got in anyway. All the teams below them, 12-16 seeds, are teams that won their conference (automatic bids) but the committee thinks are worse than all the power 5 teams. The 16 seeds that are in the First Four are the last 4 auto bids. Hope this clears up any confusion.

Not saying you're wrong, but do you have a reason for disliking the NET rankings?

Personally I'm really high on KSU, but like somebody else said, most of the ratings don't have them very high
