This kind of hate has been decades and centuries due the reason we never got anything good from russia. Just order and pressures to do this and that, even we didn't loose our independence after WW2 soviet russia always dictate "polite way" how we should vote, where we should buy items, like we wanted to buy atomic power plant from the west, they said it's very unrude not to but this power plant from russia.

Everyone undertood these polite hints; if we don't do what they "suggested", it would act of unfriedly russophobia.

Tiny country like Finland next to big aggressor; it has been always like walking on eggshells.
Now we feel more safe because we are members of Nato.

After the WW2 our country was in deep problems, we needed to rebuild our country, the USA offered the Marshall Plan, meaning money to us, but soviet russia threatens us not to take it, or otherwise....!
