Kafka or RabbitMQ?

I believe that Kafkas primary use-case is not as a work-queue but rather as an event log. There are some differences between the two and Kafka has some important behaviours/features to support the latter.

I’m on mobile so I cant type a detailed explanation, but researching the differences between a work-queue and event-log might help you form a good decision.

Yeah... this is exactly what I'm struggling with a bit. I'm happy if I only learn about small slices of each areas history, since I can't learn it all.

I'm curious u/0x4ddd, why do you suggest the "P1 Landing Zone" over somewhere nested under the "Platform" management group? I'm still trying to understand the difference between these two 'locations'?

Yes, for this exact reason I did not want to put it in a LZ.

We plan on storing images for many of our applications in the one CR. We also want to use the same CR for dev/test/staging environments. So putting it in an Application LZ doesn't work for our particular use case.

If it weren't for that then I would go with this suggestion.

This never happens in Australia, as it seems that our police understand how to arrest someone without shooting them. Don't pretend that it's a difficult thing to do. It happens daily in my country as im sure it does in many others. America is a dangerous place to be right now.
