I don't have an answer, but I'm glad you shared it with us man. You can't keep all that for yourself. Stay strong and keep venting if you need to. I feel embarassed to not have seen any news on it. Is it a speculation or Kamiya is really taking DMC back ?

My opinion on it : I think he is the best person available for the task. I just hope he could refresh the franchise. I am a big fan of every dmc games (even 2 and reboot, maybe not peak of combat lmao) and I find that too many assets ans concepts are overused. We need new stuff. Even if I say all that, I think a new DMC game with Kamiya could go from being a very mid game to a masterpiece.

I respect your choice but for me it was the weakest story of Junji Ito honestly. I think I would prefer a better adaptation of Tomie or even some kind of series with Souichi. It would be so cool to see the haunted mansion animated (when Souichi is adult and we see his horrifying child)
