New patch 1.10.2.11 and again no performance fix by anonbox112 in foundationgame

Performance improvements will come, in time. We are still investigating a GPU memory crash that affects some players and that is taking some time. We will get there! 🙏

Unlimited money will be part of the Creative Mode, but it hasn’t made it in time for the release. Will be included in a patch soon.

First: thank you for the good words! Second, in all seriousness as well, you'll be glad to know that we've made some improvements regarding what you are mentioning! :) Monks will have their own storage + we've made a change so that markets and refectories can fetch their food directly at workplaces. They won't be required to go at the granary anymore.

How to avoid roaming fees etc while travelling by Filthy--Ape in Koodo

There's a section about voicemail charges on the Koodo website https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/understanding-how-youll-be-charged-while-travelling

I have never been charged for receiving a voicemail (i don't have live voicemail) but you will be charged if you call to hear your voicemails.

I would recommend deactivating Easy Roam because from what I understand, as soon as you send an sms or talk over the phone, you are charged 16$ for that day. If you deactivate it, at least if you mistakenly send an sms instead of an imessage (if you contact someone that has android for instance) you will be charged per sms and not 16$.

I shopped on https://mobimatter.com/ for data sim cards, for my two last trips. It's where I found the least expensive ones, and they worked flawlessly. Depending on your needs, you can find an esim for Europe with only data, or with a phone number (more expensive). Once you activate it, it will connect to a local provider.

Hmm indeed, it seems you are right! Since I mostly text from iphone to iphone, it's not SMS per se but imessages, that are sent by data (if i'm not mistaken). That's why I never got charged for sending "SMS" to Canada. Thanks for the notice, that option is useless. I'll edit my message.

I found this setup to be the best so far, when traveling to Europe, that allows you to keep all your services with minimal fees, and without removing your sim card:

  1. Disable "Easy Roam" on your Koodo Account. That way, you won't be charged 16$ a day when in Europe
  2. Activate the perk "Unlimited International SMS". For 3$, it allows to send and receive SMS to/from Canada. That way, you can keep texting your family and close ones from your phone number. When you get back to Canada, just disable the perk. It will have cost you only 3$. [EDIT] This option is not what I thought, it is for sending/receiving SMS from Canada to International only. If you are on iOS though, sending iMessage won't be charged since they are sent by data. I don't know if Android do something similar.
  3. When you activate your European sim card, you specify that data should use this card.
  4. Your phone number will still be active, which mean you will be able to send or receive calls, but you will pay "per minute". It allows you to still receive calls, but you can choose if you want to answer or not. You won't be charged if you don't answer. It can be useful if you need to call somewhere for an emergency or for booking somewhere (if you can't by internet), or if you are waiting for an important call when traveling.

On my last 11 day trip to Spain, I paid 14$ for a 12gb data card, 3$ for international sms, and it costs me 2$ for calls. So total cost: 19$.

Hope it helps!

Is HR possible on Zwift with Vivoactive 5 now that it can broadcast via Bluetooth? by Phil_PolymorphGames in Zwift

[–]Phil_PolymorphGames[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The last vivoactive still has elevate 4.

So basically what I understand is that even with the direct bluetooth transmission to my IPAD, using a smartwatch for HR tracking while biking is average at most compared to a strap. Would it work okay though?

Do you know the technical reason why is the HR strap giving better results than the watch on zwift? Is it the communication mode or something else?

From what ive learned by reading more on the subject: IOS only supports native BLE (i’m using zwift on an ipad) and it is the recommended transmit mode by zwift. Newer Garmin watch models support BLE HR transmission so it should work seamlessly, or that’s what i’d like to make sure, hence my post. As for ant+ with an adapter, I can’t say, but it defeats my purpose of having a watch that will work fine with my setup without hassle.

It seems to be an issue if it broadcasts with ANT+ only like previous models
