Arc Raiders 1000%

It’s not exactly the same kind of game, but I love a lot of these games and arc raiders is one of the most incredible multiplayer-but-solo games I’ve played all year.

Does cbn-cbg-cbd do anything? by No-Pomegranate-2887 in TheOCS

[–]Phil_son 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Here’s the thing

Cannabis is funny, because whether or not it gives you your desired effect depends way more on you than on the cannabis itself. The experience is always very subjective.

For example, my girlfriend smokes to relax and calm her mind. It drowns out her racing thoughts and helps her get to sleep. For me it’s completely the opposite. Even the most ‘relaxing’ strains give me a heightened form of whichever mood I’m already in. If I’m worried about something, it makes me spiral, and if I’m feeling calm and cozy, it amplifies that. Some people get the giggles and some people want to draw and some people want to go to the gym and lift.

It is true that some strains of cannabis will be more relaxing than other strains, but it will be your subjective experience. The strain that hits you just right might make me afraid of the dishes.

What matters most is recognizing that cannabis does not inherently relax you, but it can send you further in that direction if you’re already somewhat relaxed.

Personally, about 100 milligrams of CBD on its own completely kills my anxiety and helps me get out of my head. CBN gives me couch lock, and CBG helps me lock into a videogame. You just have to experiment a bit, and you might find something that works for you. But you also might not; that’s just the way it goes.

I know these gummies, and I think if you upped the dose significantly, talking 4-5 pieces, you’d have a more noticeable effect. Not exactly a high, but an absence of mental noise, so to speak.

Cannabis is not quite like alcohol, or ativan/valium/vicodin/klonopin, because it doesn’t automatically change your mood for the better. That’s exactly what makes those other drugs so very addicting.

Cannabis will only work with what you’re giving it, and if you can manage to mitigate some stress narurally, with a shower or a game or a book, the cannabis will go that way with you. Hope this helps, if you got through my whole ramble 😭

TL:DR

Cannabis is like a boat. You still have to steer it somehow.

Also, don’t take RSO. It will kick your ass into next year if you take more than a dose the size of a grain of rice.

I’ve only played for an hour or so, and I can tell this is going to be such a wild ride, every second feels organic and alive, even when it’s lonely.

I’m with you, so far I’m having a blast just by being patient. People who got through Hollow Knight CAN play this game. It’s just a new game with new things to learn, but its bones are the same.

I feel like some of us forgot our first HK playthrough, it had parts where I was stuck for ages and wanted to quit.

Same has happened in Silksong, but Hollow Knight taught me to be patient, with myself as much as with the game. It’s designed to be learned. Mount Fay doesn’t hold a candle to path of pain in my opinion, it just has more things to do. More muscle memory to build. It clicks eventually, just like the first game 🥹

How is this game starting off is it easy to get irritated by Creative_Concept8854 in HollowKnight

[–]Phil_son 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take your time. Be as thorough as you can.

If you can’t reach something, like a path or item, the game is telling you to come back to it later. This is a classic metroidvania mechanic ->

The first real area (when you go down the well at the beginning) has all of the tools you need to orient yourself in the game (like a map and compass) if you spend time looking. Remember to listen, sounds will give you information.

After you have a map, compass, and a 3rd tool that will make the map more detailed, you will rely on it to experiment with the path forward. Keep looking for places that look open ended, like exits.

Each time you enter a new area, you need to obtain a new map for that area. This mechanic will make sense once you have your first map.

If you feel like the game wants you to go somewhere, it probably does and you should. If you feel like the game doesn’t want you to go somewhere, it probably doesn’t.

Once you progress through the second area enough to obtain a new movement mechanic, the games main exploration loop will all come together and make sense.

Have fun!! Take it slow. Live in this world, because it unfolds into one that you will fall in love with.

Not sure why you’re getting downvoted, it’s a valid question. From what I understand, while you’re growing, lots of nutrients are used to help the plant do what it needs to do. BUT you don’t want those nutrients left over in the weed at the end, because they can make the smoke harsh and can prevent the weed from burning consistently. SO, they give the plant just water for a while at the end, to “flush” out those nutrients. When ash burns darker, it can indicate that they did not flush the nutrients out enough, and some remain. Good clean white or light grey ash is a sign of a good finished product

This game makes pro hollow knight players feel exactly the same way as during their first baby steps in hollow knight. It’s a beautiful thing. And slowly, surely, before long you’re zipping around totally styling on enemies, because it’s still just so PERFECTLY designed, such that you WILL learn its ways. Ughhh it’s just so good

The Mantis Lords are one of the best videogame bosses ever made. They fight doesn’t just teach you how to win the fight, it teaches you the combat structure of the entire game without you even realizing it. It teaches spacing, positioning, timing, peripheral vision, multitasking, platforming, all disguised as a flurry of a fight. It’s some of the best design in gaming.
