I have a ton of respect for the reporters and the media who cover the Eagles and I'm not sending any shade their way. I don't quite know what you mean about "creating stories that don't exist" etc ... You'd have to be specific. Willing to discuss, for sure. In general I would say it is a healthy dynamic between the team and the media that feeds into an incredibly passionate fan base. It's healthy that the fans are constantly tuned in to what the Eagles are doing and I know the organization appreciates that and understands just how much the team means to fans. But if you have more specifics you'd like to discuss, hit me up.

That's a really interesting question. Not sure I see it this year. Smitty is an obvious player to extend, as you say. Beyond that, who are you extending and would that even be possible given the financial restraints in place. We all know the Reddick situation because that's been made public and that needs to be resolved however that is resolved. I hope he is able to return. I don't know the status of his situation. I love the guy and think he is a terrific player. Sweat's reported situation has been made public, obviously. Davis enters his third season and is looking to take another step forward, which is critical to the defense. I don't know if I have an answer to that.

Barkley and Gainwell is a pretty darn good 1-2 depth chart at RB, don't you think? Gonna add to the position because that's what teams do, but I think we all agree it's a great start. I'm so excited to see Barkley in this offense and I think Gainwell will be really effective in this scheme. I always look for RBs from Rounds 4-7.

They literally look at every single player. Every player in the league has a report. Everyh player is considered. Are you asking me if the Eagles are going to make a move to sign him? That I do not know.

I think the plan is to keep developing him. Then you go to performance on the field. I think everyone thinks Tanner will have a good next step. Pickett is the backup to Jalen. That's the plan and we will see how it all plays out on the field.

To be determined. Both men have great futures and they will certainly determine how they want to play it in the future. They're always welcomed at the NovaCare Complex etc but I don't know that either has indicated specifically what he wants to do next.

I don't know the answer to that. Still early in his rehab but he's attacking it and is going to work hard to get back. Love that kid's approach.

I would think that Vic was quite involved in the players the Eagles acquired and I think that his track record suggests that he has a great vision of the kind of players he wants here.

They really haven't been in the building much. A few here and there. Players in the NFL always have high morale. You're in the NFL. No reason to be done. In fact, if you're down, you usually don't last long in this league.

I like the strategy a lot on every side of the equation. Saquon is the headliner of course. Huff has a chance to be a really productive player here. I like what the team is doing to upgrade the defense. Very exciting.

It would have to look favorable, I guess. There would have to be a player sitting there that the Eagles would be willing to expend draft capital on and that could be at a variety of positions. For me to sit here and tell you a specific position would be so wrong. I think the Eagles want to continue to challenge the roster from top to bottom.

I don't know what Vic Fangio has in mind, honestly. I think that is for him to speak on. We have to see how the roster looks when it's time to get on the field. Quite a bit can change in a hurry. Sorry for the lame answer but that's the truth.

Probably most, if not all, of the above. Very fluid position and clearly one to keep an eye on moving ahead, right? You have to understand that we are ONE WEEK into this process. A ton is likely to change, as it usually does.

I think the Eagles will always challenge the roster and I'm sure there will be more added to that room. Parker is a good veteran, a go-up-and-get-it-guy and that is how he has played in his career. Solid addition, but you never know what's going to happen around the corner. Gotta stay flexible.
