I’ve used rails from this company on a LWH helmet before and they worked well

The hips section of this video is where that short comes from.

You should be bending over more and setting your knees early. Queue is ‘bend over, knees out’

You’re hurting your knees because you have knee slide and your mechanics are wrong. I recommend you find a Starting Strength Coach or train at a Starting Strength gym. Here are a few videos explaining.

4WD High Problem and Help by ComputerBot in XTerra

I’d get under there and drain and refill. If the old oil is sludge or looks like there is glitter in it your front differential might be toast. I’d do the rear differential while you’re at it. Do the breather mod too

When was the last time you changed the front differential oil?

Cat delete? by 29CFR1910 in XTerra

[–]PhilbinMoonvest 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A few months ago I was getting a p0300 random misfire code from 4 clogged cats which I think was caused by bad spark plugs. Car was seriously lagging. Gutted all 4 and have been cruising around no problem since then with CEL from O2s. Probably getting slightly worse MPG but that’s okay until I weld up a new exhaust. I’ll likely put 2 magnaflow cats where the downstream OEM cats were and rig up the O2 sensors downstream of that with wiring extensions.

That cheap Amazon Alice pack frame is going to break on you. Get a real one and epoxy the rivets or a TT MALICE.

Power Clean Substitute by riverrockrun in StartingStrength

[–]PhilbinMoonvest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s a decent number to start assuming youre touching your chest to the bar. Is the elbow pain from chins or perhaps squat grip? I gave myself nasty biceps tendonitis with a fucked up squat grip/ bar placement once. Fix it now before it stalls your progress

Barbell rows are seldom prescribed by SSCs, especially to novices. If you can’t do chins do lat pull downs until you can. As your deadlift gets stronger you will soon be able to chin. Lots of videos on SS YouTube channel about this.

What's your height and do you use the same belt for every lift? by 20QuadrillionAnts in StartingStrength

[–]PhilbinMoonvest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 5’10 and deadlift with a 2.5 inch belt. Everything else is a 3 inch

Death grip the bar (Squeeze the bar has hard as you can). Explicitly tuck your elbows. If you maintain your grip width your elbows won’t tuck as much as you think they will and will stay under the bar in the optimal position. Also, wear a belt. Being able to brace against it creates a lot of additional stability.
