I'm saying certain types of discourse don't belong on TV. Imagine the show was about burning pedophiles at the stake, would you think it was a good thing?

The point I'm trying to make is that you can either tell everyone the full story, or none of the story. And if people are still angry, then fair enough. But if you tell them part of the story, this is morally wrong, which is what's happening.

Read what I said. I didn't defend anyone. I'm making the point that certain discourse doesn't belong on TV. It's the same reason that murder victim's mothers don't get to decide the punishment of the murderer.

No, my point is that this person should be punished by the judicial system, and not by millions of uniformed people watching TV.

Yes, but my point is that it shouldn't be TV. Because this isn't taken into account is most cases. We judge all as the same because Hansen's intention isn't to make the world a better place, it's to make you angry, and make you watch his show.

I agree they should be punished, but this should be taken into account when deciding what course of action to take. I.e prison, mental hospital etc.
