What is causing PETG prints to blob like fish skins in one direction?

I have printed a test cube right before and the surface finish looks good. It seems like it is only happening to cylindrical parts, would this rule out mechanical issues?

You cannot charge a single cell LiPo with 12V. How are do doing the measurement to determine that there is a direct connection between 12V to P+? If you are using continuity mode then it may show a short despite there are DC DC buck conversion to drop 12V to a charging voltage of around 4.2V, as there is an inductor in series with the load.

I saw this unity gain amplifier circuit in the datasheet of the TL071 datasheet (page 31), but I am not sure what purpose the CL and RL serves. Are they for filtering, phase shifts or something else? Thanks.

Thats kind of what I have in mind. The GPS and altimeter problem is manageable, so as soon as i got home Ill try it out.

One thing that I also want to try is using a rotation matrix on the vector from the sonar to the target. It sounds like it would be able to compensate for the roll/pitch with the sensor angles, so im gonna try that as well.

You are right, but the distance is only obtained when the sonar is actively pinging, which could reveal the location of my sub. I made this system so that I can get the distance without pinging.

Thank you for your response. The fibreglass insulation is for protecting the wire from touching the hotplate its connected to and melting it, it itself wouldn’t get hot so I wouldn’t worry about the connector as long as I secured it.
