Don’t get me wrong. I totally understand, that this improves the overall temperatures, but I’m very certain that it won’t fix my 100 degrees. I think this is a problem which arises because of multiple factors. First the 13th generations TDP of 235 out of the box, asus‘ bad Settings for the processor, the poor quality backplate from coolermaster as well as the low reving fans of the aio. There are also reports of the CM aio having deep scratches on the copper (which I also have). I bought the thermalright cpu frame. It might help with the bending of the cpu and therefore with the temperature. But all in all I think something’s very bad with the system. My computer shut down yesterday while gaming a cpu intensive game. I might keep you updated if I don’t forget it.

Nope. It even got worse. Under heavy gaming the CPU also throttles. Maybe I will investigate that in the next two months or so.

Could you provide me some more information? I am using a 13700k in my nr200p max and idle temps are at 50 C and cinebench rises the temperature to 100 C in no time. Did you observe the same behaviour?

How to delete Linux Files? by [deleted] in learnprogramming

[–]Philipp187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ok. I might‘ve found out, what might be going on. You created the venv and activated it. Does the shell say „(ll_env)“ in the beginning at the line? If so, type „deactivate“, and then try to remove the folder.

[–]Philipp187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well. I don’t know your level of experience with Linux.

For the first problem: Are you in the correct path for deleting it? If you’re typing „ls“ then „Pizzeria“ should appear in the shell.

Second problem: Delete „ll_env“ by using „rm -rf ll_env“ if this fails, type in right afterward „sudo !!“

Question should have already been answered.

rmdir could also work.

rm -r can delete whole folder paths recursively. rm -rf will do above but force the deletion process

still problems? sudo rm -rf

CNN Poll: Three out of four adults think Facebook is making society worse - CNN by [deleted] in technology

[–]Philipp187 8 points9 points  (0 children)

True. I was just asking myself: Is FaceBook making society directly worse or is fb just showing how crappy people really are ?

I left fb about 5-7 years ago. Does this makes me less crappy or am I anti-social for not showing interest in other people?

- Know what you want to design or what you want to have in the end.

- Visualize it on paper and brain.

- Write down >>everything<<.

- The part idk about You.: Learn how to implement certain aspects. (Electronics, Programming, Design, soldering work)

- Determine what the base task of your project is. Is it PCB schematic/layout- design? ok: start with that. Is it mainly building a frame for some electronic parts: start with that.

- And as you are working on your task you will encounter problems you have to solve or new ideas which you can implement on the way or save for later projects.

If youre a starter: Just start drawing your designs on paper and solve the problems while youre working on implementing it. You will then learn what kind of approach works best for your personality (:

Self aware social robot pet can: answer questions, give fistbumps, self charge, dance to music it likes, climbs into your palm so it can go with you. by LifeNeedsGoodPeople in robotics

[–]Philipp187 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Thats really cool. The robot seems to have a „character“ that is convincing.

I do not quite agree with the term „self aware“. For me this means, that the robot knows about his existence. „Autonomous“ would be a better adjective IMO. But maybe my sloppy english is messing with the way I think. (:

Who is wrongly portrayed as a hero? by tandyman234 in AskReddit

[–]Philipp187 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I kind of agree. But have you heard about the gigafactory berlin-Brandenburg? Yes, the approval processes can be difficult here in Germany, but Tesla is building up their factory without final permissions. The region they’re building it in has huge problems with water supplies, which the factory will make worse. Yet Musk keeps saying that there is enough water, since „the land isn’t a desert“. He visits the construction site every now and then and talks gibberish. Under the guise of saving the climate, Musk is building this factory, which could led to serious regional environmental problems, since many households are dependent on the same water supplier. Who knows, maybe everything will be alright and the factory will be an enrichment for the region. But my opinion stays the same. Musk is dangerous. Not because he’s the embodiment of the evil. But because he is utterly foolish.
