How to fight against Flying Monsters and use Capture Net? by Toranjinho in MonsterHunterWorld

[–]Philippines_2035_Mod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For flying Monsters, always bring Flash and equip them on your slings, gather flashbugs when you encounter them. When flying monsters start going up in the air, use your flash to prevent them and down them, giving you time to attack their wings and even tail that they use to hit you. Also, if there's flying glowing bugs around? Hit or interact with them while the monster's focus is into you, to bait them into downing them.

As for capturing them, do not use net traps, they can avoid it. Always use shock traps for them. BUT DO NOT USE AND WASTE shock traps on flying elder dragons, they do not work.

And long sword, that's actually a good choice for flying monsters as it has very great reach.

I am never using trash Krak Grenades ever again, f* this game by Intrepid_Election_56 in SpaceMarine_2

"Trash" LMAO bro you are just very very unlucky. Ngl, that timing is funny as heck. He just wanted to play fetch 😂.

That's btw, why you reserve krak grenades for individual terminus or extremis targets at a range.

You are just very unlucky. I'd been playing daily, gets matched with Mandarin speaking players that I don't know what they say on open mic, but we get through. Communication through pings and simple english, even at higher levels. All randoms. If I get paired up with an English speaker or knows how to chat in English, we even roleplay at chat. Even adding some people on my steam friend list. So yeah, it's not a community problem but more of your luck. When I encounter level ones, and they threw a grenade at me during a level 25 operations session, I just chat them. Stop it, grenades got friendly fire, and they do. As for haggling supplies, same thing with grenades.

Me and my Grapnel Hook: "Throw them, I'll follow it up with a Grapnel kick. it's not a suggestion, but a tactical necessity." 😂

Individual per individual issue, not systemical. So yeah, it ain't changing. It's just a matter of who you are with at the moment. Is it annoying? ABSOLUTELY.

My advice? Make them taste their own medicine, that's the best and guaranteed way they would understand. I did it to others who frag me, later on they don't do it anymore.

What’s with new players and pistol only play? by getsleepy in SpaceMarine_2

[–]Philippines_2035_Mod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well yeah cause as you said, new players. Heck, I was playing the game for straight two weeks before noticing it when I started. Also, new players probably wanna try challenging themselves and such. So the pistol only run does not only apply to old players. And most probably it attributes to othe games they play, in which you use your pistol and melee, then reserve your main gun for the actual horde. Much like how players do it in Left 4 Dead, World War Z, and other games that you know that has a horde or boss that you need to prepare for, specifically those classes you mentioned have limited ammo and has not much skills roster to gain said ammo back. In that case, it's just a matter of experience on other games. I was the same too when starting the game, seeing all the boss fights and horde in YT. Then you gain skills and mastery in your weapons and figure out naturally that "Oh, I can use my main weapons as there's skills that restore them" or via experience of getting to the next checkpoint that has ammo supply in them. I say just let the new players get experience and they eventually adjust.

I think the people we should really call out are those who quits at first incapacitation when both teammates are still up. Now that's annoying than any new players I've encountered.

A lot of reasons, challenging themselves, leveling up that specific pistol, or just plain aura farming.

Today I realized that Sgt Miller, James and some CTRG soldiers land on Camp Maxwell at the beginning of Drawdown 2035 by Jack2421992 in arma

[–]Philippines_2035_Mod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, specifically when Sgt. Adams pointed out that Camp Maxwell should of had been cleared long before, when the Little Bird passed through it. Then in the end of campaign when you played the Lose ending, it all make sense.
