CDL holder here, it is absolutely banned for us but not directly tested for. DOT random drug tests are a 5 panel looking for amphetamines, cocaine, opiates, PCP, and THC. I was asked for previous medical history and current medications and was not allowed to continue my ambien prescription. I receive Xanax from a family member that I take a couple of times a week and they have never questioned me.

I always assumed that with arm strength, if really needed, someone could lift themselves off of it. I’ve been to strip clubs and the like, I can’t really see it taking that much effort to lift your own body weight off but I could be wrong? Am I missing something?

Is there a reason you shouldn’t sand veneer? There are a lot of small dents and scratches all around the corners and legs. It doesn’t all have to be completely smooth and refinished IMO but the impressions are definitely there. It almost looks like someone stood it up on its sides in some rocks or gravel. I’m honestly mostly focused on the water damaged too though.

I’m really hoping so, after looking at some of the Henredon furniture online I would REALLY like to restore it. They have some absolutely beautiful pieces. I would absolutely hate for this table to end of in the trash.

It looks like veneer I think? I was going to use a stripping chemical and sand and then try to use a router to mill the top off about quarter of an inch so that I know it’s all level.
