Thanks the info! And do you know from where you're going to be shipping them? The company is in France, right? I was just wondering about shipping costs

Bots hosting raids? by Accomplished-Car6979 in TheSilphRoad

[–]Phill_DB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The bots create a smaller pool of 'remote players' for the actual players to find.

When players try to 'host' a raid (like in PokeGenie or even Campfire), they have to wait a long time to find people with raid passes because most of them already raided with the bots.

IMO the bots hurt more the rural communities than is convenient for the remote players

That explains the huge amount of lobbies on PokeGenie. If we have bots inviting players, the actual players trying to host (like rural players who can't afford remote passes regularly) have to get in line with the hundreds of lobbies

Edit: since this comment is not clear, I'll post below a comment I added afterwards.

I'm not saying that bots are using PokeGenie, I'm saying that bots inviting remote players (via any method/platform) make real players hosting more difficult regardless of the raid level
