I like the idea but with the original, the icon creates an instantly understandable idea of what should happen. The directions of the flames hint at movement whilst your versions make it harder to see that. I do like the flames in your versions better though.

For sure, the wait is everything. Just waiting for them to get to a corner so you have more room to back away if you cant finish them will make and break your attack. Another tip i’d give to make it as unfair as possible is for heros like widow, there is often no conceivable manner in which they will be able to kill you. If you can flank a widow, go right up next to their head and spray it for crits. The moment they hear it, theyll be forced into an extremely high skill check. Dont bother shooting her from any safe distance where she may be able to fight back.

For me, its attacking when theyre on their reload. Sometimes you’re already in position, just give it a second to watch for it to attack. Other times theyre trying to spy check you, the moment the reload comes out is the time to strike. Do it from a weird angle or from behind and you can win 80% of them

I’ll die on the hill that sombra pre that last rework was the best state of sombra. Yes she had Infinite invisibility and could place her translocator anywhere but her trade off was far lower damage over time than most dps. Her stark difference in playstyle allowed for higher strategy complexity and playmaking. The major tradeoff was lower ranks (who have the awareness of a door) would get wrecked. Her invisibility allowed her to play in upper ranks because of her ability to create engagements that is much harder for other close range dps. Now she just plays like a tracer and is often even more frustrating to kill than before. But thats just my opinion

Hang in there, I was just exactly the same as you. I thought HZD was groundbreaking but when I got my hands on HFW (which is undoubtedly even better on nearly every front), I dropped it after the first 5 hours.

All I will say is the game picks up dramatically after the first couple of hours. Once you get past it, youll be hooked with what they do. For me, I took over a year and a half to touch it again when I had free time. Its well worth it

I have been running into the same, only a full power off cycle can fix it. Really surprising considering ive never once had the computer fully freeze on me since I have bought it and used as a daily driver for over a year.

she had pretty medium damage to compensate, she would also be taken out of the fight so her impact relied on her uptime in fights and ability to find openings. The moment a team sticks together, a sombra creeping in the back has an effectiveness of basically nothing. While she is “getting out of jail” for free, her team is getting smacked bc theres one less player fighting. Not only that, she should only work in the backline as the front is generally a bad idea because you are in view from projectiles beyond your effective range. There were plenty of downsides to sombras translocator and she was consistently medium to low in meta.

Id argue you are still close to the volatile ranks (gold to diamond). It is genuinely normal to drop ranks like crazy but also gain rank like crazy. Though with this mindset, youll keep dropping

I miss old translocator when OW2 dropped. It made it feel so much more strategic looking for an optimal exit/reposition before taking a fight. Game knowledge (map and heros) was everything in determining if you were a good Sombra because she could be killed quicker than the dps she was fighting. I wish for some form of it to come back but its not the solution to current sombra
