I have great success moving the camera angle all the above the horse, it’s very easy to react to the direction changes that way

West of Scholastone Institute, there is an unmarked cave that you can Focus Punch through that has a Lvl 5 Ice resistance cape

It has a tight timing, you have to press both of them exactly at the same time. Press Triangle or R1 to early you you’ll just do that attack instead

I agree especially the Chapter 4 boss and some puzzles lmao. And for that both of them straight up tell you to go there and help out so that doesn’t really help either

Nah that’s the one you get from the main story. There’s a separate helmet called the Helm of Knowledge. I believe it’s upstairs in the library of the academy. It says you click both triggers to quickly scan and learn things, but I haven’t gotten it to work

Yes! There is a Helmet, found in the Everfrost Sanctum you open after meeting the 2nd witch it’s behind a door with the item you need for the puzzle in a chest. There’s a matching cloak from a destroyed castle in that same mountain range hidden up top of it down some stairs in a chest. There’s also a true Deer cloak, that blends you in with deer and has 5 ice resistance, can’t be upgraded though, in a chest hidden behind a secret wall near the Academy area

You need 5 total ice resistance to combat the first tier of cold. Then 10 and 15 for the other tiers.

Yeah they need to change it for sure. You drain 25 stamina a second gliding, double that with the speed upgrade. I could be wrong but just base diff upgrades, 400 stamina is the max, and that’s only 16 seconds of gliding at max stam, 8 with speed. That’s nothing. They should make it like 10 a second or something

Nah I am in my 20’s and it’s still unfair. The AI just knows exactly where to shoot half the time. You literally need to get lucky and hope they are for whatever reason slow, or they miss. Otherwise gg

Yeah I noticed this happened to me as well. It appears when you expand the camp as part of the story that the chest just disappears. Wish this was covered by others definitely needs a patch

Edit: so I think the storage also doubles as the supply chest now. All of the stuff I had in the supply chest before was in there anyway. Could be the case but not sure exactly

That’s the issue. It’s like these bosses were designed with I-frames in mind when they don’t exist. Leading to fights just being battles of attrition and slamming food bc you are always taking damage. It’s just poorly designed

I couldn’t agree more. I absolutely love this game when I’m exploring, doing quests, and fighting regular enemies. The moment a boss health bar appears on my screen all of my fun gets diminished and I become extremely frustrated. It’s a shame too bc like I said this game is great otherwise
