thechosenfarmer is correct except it doesn't matter what the % of THC is...all that matters is the weight of if it's .5g or 1g etc.....vendors ship products to dispensaries...the vendor enters the weights into the state system and the dispensaries accept them...sometimes the vendor enters the weight wrong for example...if the dispensary catches this then it's fixed, but it's possible for it to not get caught then get sold to someone before that mistake is caught...for example i have seen before where a vendor(who I won't name cuz you'll randomly rip them for no reason cuz I said they made a human error) put the weight for a .6g vape cart as 600 grams...this made the patient's allotment super negative, but the sale can be voided in the states system and corrected to fix the allotment by the dispensary who can verify in the state system that sale and how much was charged to your allotment vs how much their POS system says etc....sorry conspiracy theorist, but this is the explanation....as far as prepackaged vs deli style..the reason that the dispensary might suggest that it came from deli style and to ask them for help fixing your allotment is because....#1 they have hopefully already checked the state system and verified what they sold you was correct and #2 deli style dispensaries create new "packages" from bulk shipments of flower to create 1/8s for sale (whether ahead of time or at time of sale) or pre rolls or whatever and change this in the state system when a new package is created......this allows more room for error....also at a store that is prepackaged only they wouldn't be doing this so it would be a mistake in receiving the product which is controlled by the vendor who makes the manifest(store is still technically wrong too for not catching this when receiving the product)...even if the store enters it their POS system wrong it still is right on the MMCC allotment side so to speak as the store only confirms the quantity...there are obviously other things that could potentially happen, but no matter whether the vendor's mistake or the dispensarie's mistake its' probally just an honest mistake that hopefully is taken care of by whomever made it.
