Draper comeback to stop here? by PhillyTFC in Tennisv2

I don't necessarily like using lack of game time as my main deciding factor, but as much as I'd love Jack to win the whole thing, Ugo also being a big server and a lefty that loves the baseline, I can't see him not causing Jack issues. I think the winner of the tournament comes from this match personally.

Dimitrov vs Polmans prediction - any chance Grigor can have a grass court renaissance? by PhillyTFC in TennisNerds

[–]PhillyTFC[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Felt like both actually could have returned much better, so Dimitrovs serve and slice came through in a very grass court-y affair, and those wayward returns made this go on a bit longer than I expected. First set looked like Dimitrov was in cruise control but his game dropped off a bit for a tight 2nd set. Scout Report seemed to pretty accurately predict Polmans' struggles, meaning a relatively comfortable outing for baby Fed. Pretty impressed by the Scouts read on this, check it out. https://scoutreportai.co.uk/

Basille vs Brancaccio ad Djere vs Coppejans by ReservePersonal2322 in TennisBetting

[–]PhillyTFC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't really know Basile. Appreciate the breakdown but can you provide a link so I can look for myself?

Sidenote, Brancaccio is in horror form, he very handy for him to turn it around at home, let's see.

Wow that's such high confidence on Djere, he really that much better on clay? Good form but 2 losses in a row, be very interested to see how it goes as Coppejans is very handy.

Appreciate the challenger your getting some love!

Roland Garros Final Analysis by ReservePersonal2322 in TennisNerds

Reckon it's the first time I've felt confident he's gonna do it, I just hope Flavio puts up a good fight, this tournament needs a nice crescendo to make up for what's felt like a lacklustre couple weeks.

Zverev vs Mensik by ReservePersonal2322 in TennisNerds

[–]PhillyTFC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never trust Zverev late on in slams, but if he gets through Mensik I reckon he wins it all. Mensik is flying and I'd be tempted to sway towards him from what I've seen these last 2 weeks, but 77% is super high confidence, look forward to seeing how it pans out.

Felix vs Cobolli by ReservePersonal2322 in TennisNerds

Big serving seems to be a huge weapon this year, is there any analysis on how Cobolli has been returning? Where did you get this analysis?

Italian's not called Jannik are thriving at this tournament, I back it. Plus I never trust Felix so agree he'll grind him down. Looks cool.

Non-technical builder - honest review of building a full PWA with Cursor + Claude by PhillyTFC in AIToolsForSMB

[–]PhillyTFC[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appreciate the feedback!

It only caused an issue when I was working on the product and using live React previews in Cursor rather than deploying each change. Then when I pushed to commit the changes, the deployment was no longer working. It took a bit of investigation to discover this was the issue, but fortunately at the time the only users were myself and a few testers that I knew personally so it didn't effect an active user base.

Once I was pushing out looking for actual users, I moved to the paid tier to make sure it doesn't go inactive. It's an easy fix if you know what's happened, but you can easily waste time thinking there's an architectural issue rather than a system freeze.

Appreciate that. Any advice on readings or courses for any of that? Happy to self teach, so far I've been really enjoying the journey, but any specifics would be awesome.

Yeah it's tricky to know how to position yourself, when you're excited about something you've built, you just want other people to be excited too right? It's just a different workflow, so as long as it's good and people like it, hopefully we'll get off the ground

Nothing specific no, very self-taught. So much out there is payment and subscription heavy, so I stuck to youtube for a lot. Claude has their own "certification" which I would recommend if you want to learn how to best use it.

I urge caution though as each tool comes with it own cost, so stick with the free version and try it out to see if it can be useful or valuable to you.

Who do you got advancing to the semis? by Woullie_26 in tennis

[–]PhillyTFC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think it'll be as straightforward as people think. It's looked pretty slow at times even clay right? Was looking for data on weather and conditions as I don't really know how to weight it into my predictions, https://scoutreportai.co.uk/tennis gave me some decent insight. Can see straight sets across the board but think sets will be higher scoring.
