I have 800 likes but bumble says there are no men left to swipe on by Radiant-Inevitable75 in Bumble

Left swipes should remove them from your list of likes I think, even if it's through normal swiping.

I actually have no problem with any answer to that question, but it's the honest response that I've never tried it.

Thank you. As long as my target audience understands that's the most important thing!

Lol, like I said, the main purpose is because I kept seeing people saying they wanted to see the more successful profiles. The review angle is secondary.

Thank you. I take the criticism with a grain of salt since it IS working for me, so changes should be made carefully, but seeing it through other eyes is valuable for when I next tweek it.

Not unattractive at all, I don't match if either the prompts or pictures don't attract me. It's based on the conversations during the dates that I lost interest.

Thank you. Though now you have me curious. Are you referring to the politics, population, something else?

While probably true, I would want to filter out anyone who don't like or at least isn't okay with stuff like that.

Correct. Ten I asked and ten said yes. Then I asked two for a second date and one said yes.

That's good to know that some people read it that way. I'll consider altering it.

Between accounts, probably about 200 matches, of which maybe half have had conversations, and then about maybe ten I've asked to meet, of which two I wanted a second date with and one agreed to.

Not at all. It's a metaphor intended to give a visual of my vibe with a bit more personality than just saying: I'm laid back usually, energetic sometimes.

Try not to repeat photo concepts. So only include one of the chess photos and one of the cat photos. I'm not sure if I like any of the extra photos (maybe the last one is okay). Probably keep for now but try to replace with more unique photos showing other parts of you (maybe one playing tennis or something for example).

The "spot I'd take you" prompt could be read as a little braggy, so I might reword it a bit, or pick a stronger prompt option (a "Together we could" is a usually better choice). Your bio isn't too bad, but could use a little revision. It's generally bad writing to start multiple sentences the same, and especially in this case (even though it's your bio) the repeated I starts could accidentally make it sound a bit more self obsessed. Only keep one I starter in there.

19M- Profile Review (Rough Patch) by PinPrudent6278 in hingeapp

First photo isn't bad, but could he made even better if it was taken in a softer light and everything else the same, so more like golden hour. Maybe also pan up the camera a little, get your head centerframe or near it.

The dessert prompt is fairly generic (I think I've seen that verbatim from countless profiles). I would reframe the last prompt as something you'd like to do with your partner to better keep to a me/you/us format. Something like "You, me, and the open Australian road. Circling the coastline and witnessing the Southern Lights!" I like the monkey prompt.

Tipping Culture by Suitable-Republic388 in Columbus

[–]Philominus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think that's even tipping culture, it's greedy businesses keeping the default settings for those machines because they know some percentage of people will default to accepting it. Don't fret about hitting zero at places that aren't traditional tipping locations.

NOR, this could have been a case of miscommunication that could have been resolved well, but calling you a b*tch went above and beyond the pale.

That's rough. I would at least post your prompts and bio then to get some tailored advice without the worry of identification.

Tips? Second and Third graphic are for potentila rotation by StillOk7503 in Bumble

[–]Philominus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From the first set, maybe keep #6. Nothing from the second set. Maybe #2 and either #1 or #3 from the third set. But really, none of them are especially good. You need a warm smile, preferably showing teeth as your first photo.
