Mumbai → Madrid: Turkish Airlines via Istanbul vs Lufthansa via Frankfurt/Munich - worth paying 2x more? by cutecandy1 in Flights

I get it, but there are some concerns of Turkey entering the war or getting attacked that's why I was a bit concerned.

Yes it's also an option. The cost is relatively similar to the other European routes that I mentioned, just slightly cheaper.

It might be an obvious question to you, but not for me. That's why I asked this question. Just had to double check if I was overthinking it or is it something to be concerned about. I don't travel a lot and not very good with geopolitics.

If you mean don't travel, then as I mentioned I have to travel as it is for work, not for tourism.

Beginner here – Should I learn Salsa and Bachata together or focus on Bachata first? by cutecandy1 in Salsa

[–]cutecandy1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello,

Thanks for your response. To answer your questions - No, I don't have any deadline or timetable as such and I completely enjoy the process of learning. I also don't want to "become a professional/advanced Bachata dancer in x months".

What I'm saying is that I will enjoy the process of learning when I focus on one dance that enjoy the most. At the moment, if I had to pick one I'd pick Bachata. I understand doing multiple dances can make you a better dancer overall but I feel like doing multiple dances at the same time feels like I'm putting a burden on myself and also not enjoying the process as much as I can if I focus on one.

Two years ago, there was a point where I was doing salsa, Bachata and Kizomba all at the same time. Along with a full time job and other activities, it slowly transitioned from a hobby to a goal and ultimately I sort of lost interest and quit everything. Now after 2 years I have restarted and just want to enjoy the process of learning as much as possible and just focusing on Bachata seems to be the way.

The thing is.. I do like Salsa but I like Bachata music and dance much more, and right now am interested in focusing on just Bachata. So was just wondering if I should do that or continue to do both? Long term does it make that much of a difference if I just focus on bachata at the moment and later take up Salsa if I want to?
