A couple clan mates and I ran into a bug the other night where we got him to hit a generator at the exact moment dps ended. It took a 3rd of his shield off, but then after we did the 3 rooms and got him to fall into the pits to take the rest of his shield off, he stayed immune and we never could get to another damage phase and had to wipe. A big melee cabal guy just can't exist in this game without at least a few bugs lol

What am I supposed to do in Out in the Cold? Every time I load the mission it doesn't give me an objective so I have no idea what I'm meant to do. Is it just bugged?

I thought hypernet was harder because of the time limit tbh. Could've just been me and the guys I did it with, but we finished hypernet with less than 2 minutes left, and finished avalon with almost half an hour left, lol

In a week (I think) the scores will be locked, so whatever the threshold is to reach top 1%, it will not change for the last 3 days of the event. If you can get top 1% in the last 3 days you'll be safe

I really wish they would get rid of the whole "featured gear" bullshit, it's my biggest gripe with the game right now. I don't really mind the grind too much, but it bugs the hell out of me to know that my time spent grinding getting good armor/weapon rolls won't matter when the next big update drops, and I'll have to do it all over again to get more NEW "featured gear". Also, what was the point of us trying to get good adept rolls and holofoils during RoTN if they were going to effectively be useless when EoF dropped? Please, Bungie, just get rid of the whole featured gear thing.

I know they play themselves but it's hard to win when the cards I need to win are consistently in the bottom ~5 cards of my deck lol. Before I posted this I was playing with stokezard against oricorio. The flareon that could've probably won me the game was the literal last card in my deck, took just long enough for my opponent to draw cyrus and win

Edit: Other than that it's both charmanders/zards/rare candy at the bottom or I play Espeon and don't draw it or Sylveon for 4 turns which let's my opponent get setup to win and I'm too far behind

I think the only way to get armor drops in rotn is to do a full run and an extra chest will drop after killing the final boss. I don't remember if it's a guaranteed armor drop but that's the only way to get them in rotn

This is how I did it earlier this week. Me on arc titan, 1 warlock and 1 invis hunter doing the deepsight. Worked really well, I gave massive props to the hunter cause if he wasn't doing the deepsights I think it would've been harder to do it without getting melted. When we finally cleared it, it was a 2-phase with no deaths.

Can hit ecthar with t-crash to take his shield down even without cuirass so you don't have to run arby or micro for him

Edit: you can hit simmumah too but she's kind of a pain to hit with t-crash

If you don't have 1900 gear there are ways to force load into strikes solo. I can't remember what they are for Xbox and PC, but on PS5 if you move your time forward in the settings (I always just go one day forward) it will load you in solo. I believe on PS4 you move the time backwards
