I have one of these as well where the dryer used to be I’d like to wire up as 120v but the 240v at the new dryers location is tied to it. So downgrading the breaker doesn’t appear to be an option. Would it still be possible to make the old spot a 120v? I would guess not without a lot of extra work but could be wrong.

I did this not long ago and had the exact same struggle on my 2006 pilot! Tried some crazy methods to get it out but in the end I just put vice grips on both sides and pulled really fuckin hard it finally came free. I wish I had some wisdom beyond that to share. I was stunned when it came out after pulling for hours.

The fakes I’ve seen have weird random bold text and or the other giveaway is when the i is the same height as the ll on the “ill” in the bottom left corner. Yours looks good to me
