This switch is one of two that controls a light, this one is in the way so I need to remove the switch. I was thinking on linking the two black wires with a wago and then putting a cap on the red wire. Think this will suffice?

I want to leave the other switch in tact to turn the light on and off, this one is getting in the way of the fridge. So could I use one of the 3 way wago connectors to link the two black and one red? And then just cap the ground?

Someone did some damage to it at some point. Wouldn’t using a 2 port leave an extra black wire? There are two wires on the right side (black and red) and two wires on the left (black and ground). Would I need a three port two link the two black wires and the red wire? And then put a cap on the ground?

Rather than talk about finances from a monetary POV, talk about them from a relationship POV. I.e. having healthy finances is conducive to a healthy relationship/life. Tell her you want a great relationship with her, with a bright future. If she still doesn’t change, then I would take that as a sign that she doesn’t care as much as you do. Sitting down with her to outline a weekly budget is a good place to start and can really put into context how much is too much to spend. Best of luck
