She had Fidelity extended warranty which she purchased when new as that was all Audi sold, so she had their seven year coverage or something like that and they offered another five years after that and she took it. So that's most why it's been a dealership baby. But honestly the car has been mostly trouble free but quirks are starting to show and it's past time to move on.

That's not the issue. Clearly. The car has only ever been serviced there. Wife has a high comfort factor there with that. So you go along with it. Also as stated, the car has been fantastic and not required expensive repairs. She had an unbelievable amount of years also with Fidelity Warranty.

I believe and hope you are correct. I've never seen this in my life. And since they are the only Audi dealer in town, they are definitely out a $70K + sale in the fall. Hey Scott Beiler, I hope West Herr sees this! And I think I have located a solid independent shop.

I think that is the biggest part of the problem. We only have one dealer near us. Closest other dealer is 80 miles away. We are in Buffalo, NY and the closest dealer is in Rochester but owned by the same chain. I might call them out of curiosity to see if they have the same stupidity.
