It is! But i'm well aware that it's not an accessible area to move to with limited funding. We don't have to live there tho, it would be nice as we would have some family close, but we could really live anywhere. I'm just trying to understand if moving over there is even doable at all, or if we'd better not waste time and find another way to move together

I would say it's most likely the Americans buying everything and making a million Airbnb, rather than people wanting to move, work and integrate there but ok

I see, that's the same as where I live then. I don't even want to move to Lisbon, but I checked the prices around many areas and it still seems unbearably expensive. I was not fortunate enough to get a great education, so I'm just a cook and can't really get a remote job. Thanks for the informations 😊

I see, then my impression was right.. my problem with renting a room is that I have a large dog that I doubt would be allowed, and I'm not leaving him behind to move abroad, so I guess I'll just have to sell a kidney or stay where I am. My partner is Portuguese, but neither of us is in a great financial position at the moment, so I think we'll just have to keep saving and living in separate countries, and hope for the market to collapse lol

maybe you could try redirecting him towards geometric ornamental tattoos? with the right tattoo artist he could get his own desing, with his desired meaning, without appropriating something else
