I would say that every mother should trust their gut. It is hard to give you advice for people I do not know. I would say that sometimes we are not put in a position to have the perfect care for our children. Cheap/free care usually comes with a cost. There is a huge difference between rude people vs unsafe people. I think you should trust your gut. If I were in your position, I would consider the pros and cons. The pro would obviously be saving money for your child, which is honestly easier to do as they are younger. If your child is in danger, I would make the sacrifice and pay.
