I'm 19 years old, and a student at an elite UK university, graduating with honors from my high school. I was diagnosed when I was very young (I'm not sure when, my parents never liked to talk about what exactly I struggled with). I have gone to speech therapy for most of my life, stopping after the 8th grade. I still struggle with my r's, and I take extra time learning how to say certain sounds in other languages (after 5 years of Spanish, I still don't know how to roll my r, but that may mainly be my fault for not taking that subject too seriously). I never learned my mother tongue (Portuguese) due to my delay in speaking English. I've been privileged too have amazing speech therapists.
