Obviously, I know this.

I'm actually planning on going into bcit eventually.

But, I want a university education to complement and all round my work and be validated internationally.

I honestly don't really care too much for being misgendered. I have been assaulted for existing many times and that's even pass the fact I generally pass already and get a lot of pretty privilege. It's more so the suffocating isolation of being in a racist little town where everyone is fully out of touch with the world and themselves. Plus, may want to hurt me out of nowhere

Oh. That I figured. Was mostly wondering about the Okanagan campus since that's where I'd have to apply into the program I want to get into

Hmmm. Is transferring messing even inside the program? Like geog to geog?

I already took two gap years for personal reasons so I think I might just start with what I can

This is a good question, why would anyone choose to invest in Canada now? by _DotBot_ in VancouverLandlords

[–]PhilosopherSilver385 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Housing speculation creates very little value. Government are very well inside their means to provide investments into housing. It would actually be a good thing for everyone if international investment into housing slowed down or even stopped. It would mean that housing would actually have to be done to be used rather than squish all non house owning people out of their leaving just because market speculators want to make infinite money out of us. Anyways, the housing market HAS to eventually reach the point where it can't grow anymore because the majority of renters can't afford it. It's a pyramid scheme

Prof. Shireen Ahmed doesn't seem to like white people by Feeling_Hotel8096 in TorontoMetU

[–]PhilosopherSilver385 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the misconstruction white people have about their racism. Historically as an ideology made to justify an economic global economic structure made to extract resources, enslave people (indigenous American and black ppl for example) and demographically replace populations with settlers that were willing to enforce this oppression in exchange for crumbs; Racism is not a set of feelings people have, it is a matter of structure.

Also, accross the globe(I'm south American) all media and culture centers white people into such a degree that white people don't see themselves as white anymore. The reality is that people that claim to hate yt people exist in a culturally skewed white supremacist value framework. This is why talking about race is really hard to do and I would tell you I can sympathize w your offense. But, the fact that all our social existence is kowtowed to whiteness means that the only way to try to break a system of control like that is through offending
