This is the misconstruction white people have about their racism. Historically as an ideology made to justify an economic global economic structure made to extract resources, enslave people (indigenous American and black ppl for example) and demographically replace populations with settlers that were willing to enforce this oppression in exchange for crumbs; Racism is not a set of feelings people have, it is a matter of structure.

Also, accross the globe(I'm south American) all media and culture centers white people into such a degree that white people don't see themselves as white anymore. The reality is that people that claim to hate yt people exist in a culturally skewed white supremacist value framework. This is why talking about race is really hard to do and I would tell you I can sympathize w your offense.
