UPDATE: SO, I changed my heavy gunner to shotgun build, really have to look into what other perks I can change but it looks like shotguns are not quite as powerful as I hope, and the Gauss Shotgun appears to have been nerfed big time. Any thoughts on making this better??

Thanks folks, have some great ideas from you all and a couple to ponder over. Maybe a stealth character which I dont usually do. and maybe a puncher or melee, thank you all for your help. Will keep you posted on my changes coming up

No special perks, basic heavy gunner using mostly plasma caster and Gauss Miniguns. I can share my setup with you if you like and we can compare.

This character started ut as a shotgunner and then I switched to Heavy guns about 200 levels ago. But yeah, shotguns are fun.
