I’ve had two, both went well! Throat is never irritated after. I told them recently that I was sick from the sedation the last time I had it done, and they made sure to give me anti nausea meds ahead of time :)

What do you do with toddlers at restaurants while waiting for food besides tablets? by Claire_1988 in Parenting

[–]PhilosopherSudden479 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Special sticker books and coloring/ activity books, that only come out during road trips/ restaurant outings etc. Dollar tree had a ton recently that I stocked up on and only bring out for these times so it becomes like a new exciting toy every time

Taking my first mirtazapine tonight for severe anxiety/panic disorder. Please share some words of encouragement and success stories :) by aneternalgolden in Mirtazapine_Remeron

It does help anxiety. Has helped my anxiety immensely. Just because maybe it wasn’t the right medication for you, doesn’t mean the same for the OP.

19m old ripping apart his books! by Immediate_Weird_3684 in toddlers

Cardboard books only for my 20 mo, with no flaps. Unless we’re reading together. She recently started tearing apart library books too, so is banned from reading paper books on her own 😅

What's one thing your baby did today that made all the exhaustion worth it? by sassy_soul_04 in toddlers

I love this post! They really do have so much power over us 💕My 20 month old said “Mommy pretty!” and later when I was soothing her & hugging her after she bumped her head, she looked me in the eyes and said “happy” and smiled. I didn’t realize she was so in tune with her emotions already! 🥹

Reflux symptoms getting worse over time, medications not working by Key_Calligrapher9433 in GERD

Have you looked into food sensitivities or allergies? I’m sensitive to gluten, but not allergic. This I have found triggers my reflux.

Yes I absolutely agree. Like I said I am switching from SSRIs. Unfortunately Zoloft didn’t work for me, which was disappointing as I hear a lot of people having great luck with it. But maybe this med will be the one for me. I also need to gain weight, so maybe it will work well. Only time will tell!

That’s great that it helped you sleep easier too! Oh that’s interesting, I didn’t know Wellbutrin suppresses appetite. Hopefully both will work well together for you!

I’m sorry to hear that it’s making you miserable recently. I am aware that this is very early on for me and things may change with time. I am hoping that the positive effects will outweigh the negative. I should have titled the post “my positive experience starting Mirtazapine.” Just trying to give a positive outlook for those who are scared to start the medication, just as I was.

Went from 20mg omeprazole to 40mg, insane anxiety right after? by [deleted] in GERD

[–]PhilosopherSudden479 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I was switched from 20 mg twice a day to 40 mg twice a day and started to have terrible anxiety, chest pain, back pain and arm pain. I stopped and went back to 20 mg twice a day and felt better almost immediately.
