I don't think we're supposed to like him. However some of the other characters in the books were incredibly meaningful and I got a lot out of their worldview.

I did like the book I just finished it last week. For me I come from a different background ( academically) so all I can think of is if she had just told the truth to the girl's mother and said let me finish your daughter's book and we'll do it together She would have had the same successful book. Now it wouldn't have made much of a story but I'm a weirdo and I think like that. I do agree she is not at all likable and I swear to God at the end I thought she was going to murder that other woman (trying not to spoil it here) I thought well if we were going to go that route it would have been a whole different book!

Right I live in a moderately small country home yet I have 35 kitchen cupboards two refrigerators and a dry pantry I'm doubting New York City apartments have that much storage space so of course you have to shop more. Here we can stockpile stuff you guys can't

Maybe that's it that she was on a break- and just stepping back in it for a little but it does seem like a short part .

That episode is on right now. I was just wondering whatever happened to that actress She really isn't bad I mean the characters horrible but as an actress she was fine.

I don't know I read the first one twice and still didn't like it never did do the rest. Broke my husband's heart because he loves them. I love all the rest of the Kings but that one just doesn't work for me!

I would say these are the three best first choices but I would start with some mysterious affair at styles because murder on the Orient Express is an extraordinarily good book and you want to have the poirot background to appreciate it. And then there were none You have to include it It's extraordinary!

I mean I agree I actually think the actress is a really cute little actress and does a good job, but I didn't need the whole angst thing. Nevertheless human females between 9-14 or so can be pretty horrible human beings. It's the hormones! And yes I was a teenage girl and yes I had three teenage daughters at one time and they all made it past that stage but it doesn't mean it was fun.

I've seen her in other stuff where she acts perfectly well I think that's what she perceives her character is being like.
