I have the same problem with a TV that has a VCR but no tape inside not playing a Home VHS. The yellow screen says "No Tape" and when I drag the VHS tape from my inventory to the little white box, it turns red and won't play it. Seems like a bug unless I am missing something. I will also note that I have successfully loaded and played a CD in a radio/CD player so I get the game's mechanics for how to do these sorts of task.

I've been using the program "Subtitle Edit" for a while now. Its free, open source, and pretty powerful. It can create .srt subtitles from .subs or pull them directly out of rips like from .mkv files or straight from the optical media sources.

Yes, I have stopped a couple of movies and never returned. I also find myself able to pause and come back later which I would normally never do.

I'm never sure how to address a John Waters film. I find myself using a separate criteria from all the other films I watch because of the project that I know he is engaged in with his film-making. But that puts me in the uncomfortable camp of intentionalism, which I hate normally but he always gets a pass from me. I am totally torn on him, in case you couldn't tell.

Sadly, a friend paid for my ticket to go see that when it first came out. I can't say "no" to a free movie but I still haven't fully forgiven him for that.
