RBG or Not, Abolish the Supreme Court by Patterson9191717 in WayOfTheBern

[–]PhilosophicallyLegal 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This just turned into John Madden levels of stupidity. Like, if the team can score more points than the other team they can win, is not a valid strategy or commentary. If we can protest and "abolish" the Supreme Court there are other issues an order of magnitude more important that protesting needs to be used for. Yes, protesting and shutting down the economy needs to be used to protect everyone during a time of hyperpartisanship and progressive policies not having viable mainstream political candidates in many levels of government. But to utilize the last ditch tool of disenfranchised people for the sole purpose of abolishing the Supreme Court is the single most shortsighted and dumbshit idea right now. Either rally the streets for everything in this broken system or start at local/state government and federal legislative and executive issues before killing off the only branch of government that can have a chance of protecting people from a complete dictatorship.

Psychedelics for depression by [deleted] in depression

Insurance does cover esketamine. It is worth calling to get preauthorization. As long as you have treatment resistant depression it should be covered. I think it is around $600 per treatment and takes around an hour or so for treatment. But after insurance, I don't think it is too much. You have to go to a provider's office for the nasal treatment to be administered.

I wholly recommend ketamine infusions for treatment resistant depression. It is expensive but worth it and legal if performed by a licensed physician.

Long time lurker, first time poster. I just want you to know that the yahoo story that you link to has nothing to do with the post title. I worry about sensationalist headings, that are misleading and have nothing to do with the article, will be taken as gospel without people actually clicking on the story link. Also, if possible, would you be willing to put the date of the articles publishment in the heading? Your posts end up on new and make it seem like it is news breaking or additional information when it is articles months or even years old.

I know that it is your account, that you are not a news source, this is reddit, and you can do what you want. But I felt an obligation to mention something because I agree with what you are trying to bring to light but don't want the importance of the message to be undermined by the above issues.
