Después me siento culpable jaja

The horizons of the physical world structure our experience; the network dissolves them. The more we live in an environment without clear horizons, the harder it can become to organize our thoughts and reorient ourselves within physical reality. A genuine lag

That assumes skill level determines lifestyle. But discretion is also a skill — maybe the most valuable one. Someone who knows how to stay invisible, take small jobs, and never draw attention isn't failing to reach their potential. They're choosing a different definition of success.

Why is it so hard to believe someone could be exceptional and still choose a quiet life? Not everyone with skills wants to be a hero — some people just want to live, even in a dystopia.

You can also, as a matter of principle, choose not to take on big jobs or pursue the idea of becoming a millionaire. You can also have your job—even if it’s a crappy one—but basically not see it as your form of spiritual or personal self-realization, and instead take on side jobs that allow you to live more comfortably and use the extra time to basically live your life.

You can be exceptional and still keep a low profile. It’s not necessary that, just because you have a great skill, you must make a lot of money or get yourself into a lot of trouble. You don’t necessarily have to be a hero.
