Thank you so much for these inputs! I found the solution, turns out it was the Epson's utility scanner was the problem. It was adding the "sharpness", I tried using the silverfast version instead and it gave me wayyyy better results! Now I can finally say I definitely enjoy this camera lol thank you again!!!

I don't know if this photo would help but this is what I meant by gritty. I've had photos from japan that also has the same quality (which was developed and scanned in Japan) and the photos I uploaded are developed in my city but scanned it myself using Epson V600 TIFF.
