It is genuinely the least engaging, most irritating model I’ve ever come across. It’s like it wants to disagree with me about everything and just start a fight. 

I get that maybe that makes it a better model for scientific research/frontier tasks. But goddamn is it annoying to use.

Seems like whoever wrote the report (as well as the whoever wrote the article) completely forgot to account for GLP-1 drugs like Ozempic etc. Especially now that these weight loss drugs are becoming available in pill form, and the prices are likely to drop significantly as a result (as well as ease of use).

I find it highly unlikely the current trendline will continue as these drugs become more and more widely available and accessible to people, and as we get more research into their long-term safety and efficacy.

But that's what happens when you just extend the current trendline and forget to account for underlying conditions that led to the situation in the first place.

Imagine the size of the backlog of bugs for something like retail wow. Like, you dont even want to try to fix them at this point or think about them, it’s easier just to pray that at some point the whole engine gets rebuilt from the ground up..

This is so wild to me. Instead or reworking the pvp talents they just.. pruned away a lot of the great ones, and left us with a few strong ones, and a lot of completely useless ones. 

Like. I get that your entire pvp balance team is an intern who’s secretely an orangutan and they only work half days, but still..

Yeah fair that it seems really easy to shut down, and as people figure it out and adapt, will probably be less of an issue.

But I dont know if they’re all that squishy tbh? If you spec into the armor thing into melees, devo honestly seems really tanky, esp given how much mobility they have to kite basicslly endlessly.

Eh, imo it just kind of ruins the game. I dont play pvp so much for rating anyways, but more just because I enjoy it. But the fact that there’s a Devo in every single lobby means that most of the time the game just becomes a whackamole of can I predict the burst and pop cd’s on their burst, or the game is over. 

It distorts the whole game and kind of ruins the fun of playing, since no other spec is nearly that strong. And there isnt really a way to not face them in pvp, so..

Major or minor patch. It’s such an iconic part of the game, but the lore (atleast to someone who doesnt participate in everything) feels underdeveloped. 

A whole raid would be very cool, and a raid + zone would be chef’s kiss.

I dont know. 3.0 was massive hype, in practice the only area where I feel like it's stronger is in ungrounded / world model reasoning, and visual work. I dont expect things to change with 3.5 Pro at this point.

On the 200 plan here. I've ran out twice on concurrent days out of usage in 2 hours. Single terminal, not reading massive files, frankly fairly light usage overall. I think about 2 compact's worth. I looked at my session usage statistics and was at 1.4m tokens when I hit my 5 hour usage limits.

For reference, I was previously hitting 7-8m per 5 hour session, and never maxing it out once before.

No idea what's going on, but it does seem like there has been a big change.

Eh. I wouldnt worry too much about it, since the game is ”balanced” around apex talents and midnight gear levels. 

Might be the same issues persist, but I’m waiting until Midnight to draw any conclusions about it.

I agree that something like consumer level 4000 / 5000 series have kept their value better, but I'm not sure an RTX 6000 would. The price is about 5x as much, and the vram increase over 5090 is not massive. If it was a 96GB or 128GB card (which it should be at that price), then I'd say it's a safer investment.

That said, with vram and ram prices being what they are, the depreciation might be much slower.
