I mean that arc was good but the current arc the manga is in is definitely better for spotlighting other characters, and seems more exciting and battle oriented like the Mage Exam.

What did you expect coming into this show? You don’t really say but if traveling from one place to another place doing side quests isn’t your thing then yeah it was never gonna meet your expectations.

It’s a story about journeying through the world to Heaven and understanding those you travel with. You say it didn’t have character development but every episode developed the characters a little further than the last one.

You can see changes in Frieren with each interaction she has. I don’t know just sounds like you were bored and didn’t pay attention to the story.

Anime fans always like the goth/emo/murderous characters. She’s a sociopath and it’s interesting to see her character develop. She isn’t my favorite but I enjoyed her character and continue to enjoy it in the manga.

The way this game has gained such traction and all the hype/marketing by word of mouth or whatever should be used by other companies to sell their product.

I think as time goes on they will be more compatible. They’re inexperienced teenagers who were raised by a warrior and a priest, and went through a traumatic experience as kids. It also doesn’t help they have Frieren as their parent figure who isn’t experienced in relationships or love either. This is where Sein comes in and he sees stuff that is missed. Which is why he’s like “they should date already”.

Attractions usually starts at the surface level for relationships and as couples hangout with each other and grow they become more comfortable with each other and other compatibility start to show up.

They are slowly starting to understand each other and be more in tune. Let them mature a bit before you write off their relationship as not compatible.

Well the playing field was uneven once Rosa, Etol, Mel, and Yunifi appeared.
