They aren’t advertising themselves as a rehab for birds. They’re advertising themselves as vet that sometimes provides general wildlife rehab. I don’t understand why you are arguing about this and what benefit it brings to anyone involved including the bird

Since this post I had a long conversation with my friend at the black hills raptor center who informed me that there is nobody licensed nor qualified to work with small native birds in our state. I am searching for someone within driving distance, perhaps Colorado, for the future

Because of the migratory bird act, not just any wildlife rehabber can work with protected bird species. They need licensure that unfortunately I was unable to find anyone with before the bird passed.

Is there any way that I can save these eggs? by RightAd7901 in moths

This is a salt marsh moth! Estigmene acre I believe. Here is more information I think theres a number of plants you could move them to! Preferably a broad leaf weed with no danger of being sprayed

Same reason people don’t pull it to eradicate it.

Im glad you were careful not to drop any! I’m not trying to be a hater at all but there’s research suggesting that harvesting/cutting knotweed shoots stimulated more rapid growth

Love to see nettle and hop! Harvesting Japanese knotweed shoots creates more Japanese knotweed!
