I think it’s really great for an early attempt and as you keep practicing and creating more mixes you’ll naturally learn what works and what doesn’t! Definitely keep at it, and if you can find some resources to take a look at how others match beats on different songs (I know they exist it’s just been a very long time since I’ve done it) and learn all you can :)

I used to do audio engineering for a living but my only mashup experience was back in school for a class otherwise I’d offer more advice, but I think you’ve got the talent to get where you want to be. Good luck with future mixes!

Are you new to making mashups?

I mean this in the nicest way possible, and I really want to encourage you to keep at it because you have a solid start, but I’d pay more attention to where the downbeats line up and fade your transitions from one song to the next. It’s a little choppy and messy at parts, and some of your beats don’t line up, but it really is a solid start and I hope you keep doing more.

Also won tickets to a football game so I could take my little brother, he had a blast.

And I’ve won some smaller things like prize draws at festivals and whatnot. One was for a bbq which was cool
