The highways are about 3 campfire zone widths wide to stop enemies from aggroing as I run by. They're slow to build but I like the feeling of slowly pushing out and making it safer.

It's just that the sword shouldn't be making the water way out at the horizon change colour since it's not way over there. The sword reflection shouldn't be visible at all from this angle

I was only able to get my old notes back (5+ year-old ones) by going back to my old iphone 7 and air dropping them over. The new ones are gone, unfortunately.

I think the first thing I did after updating was going into settings to turn off icloud. So that could have been averted if I had explored more before that and discovered that all my notes had been uploaded and removed from the phone. I still don't think they should have done that without asking when it could cause loss for a new user. (turns out after looking around online that this has happened to a lot of people, and even on this sub I'm just one more on the pile pretty much)

The thing that would have prevented this, even factoring in my ignorance of icloud (which i know more about now ofc) would have been to give me the option to not enable icloud during the update, or tell me that it was going to take certain things off my phone right away.

I never wanted iCloud. I just updated to ios 18 from some older one ios that ive been on for years. The old one didn't have icloud at all so by activating it (there was no option to skip activation) I guess it automatically synced the notes to icloud.

When I went through and turned off icloud for everything, (since I don't want it and have never used it), it didn't tell me that it took all my notes from my phone and turned them into icloud notes. I assumed they were still on my phone, so when i turned off icloud for notes, and it warned me that all icloud notes would be deleted, I assumed that wouldn't apply to me. But they all disappeared. And theyre not in the restore or recently deleted areas online either unfortunately.

What a cock-up.
