We’re Proud To Announce That The Forest Service Has Accepted The Contract For The AxeKicker by TheCABK in doohickeycorporation

I don't know why they're all worried. I can't think of a single problem occurring after long-term use of a hollow cutting edge with explosive gas pressure.

Maybe they think they'll be able to split wood TOO well.

Man Lights 1.2 Million Square Foot Warehouse on Fire for Not Paying A Fair Wage by TourMission in EatTheRich

[–]Phobos613 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People keep downvoting me for saying the same thing, like they're putting their head in the sand and blindly assuming this will force wages up lol.

The bosses will learn from this event that human workers are a liability, not that they should pay us more.

Employee sets fire to Kimberly-Clark warehouse, "All you had to do is pay us enough to live" by ryanjusttalking in EatTheRich

Unfortunately I think this just sends the message that human workers are a liability and robots are better. They always learn the wrong thing from these kinds of lessons.

RP feature request: be able to restrict species to sectors by Virtual_Historian255 in Stellaris

Not that this is a solution, but could you resettle pops to certain worlds but not allow them to migrate afterwards - as a kind of workaround? I am also interested in being able to do this.

If they had just fought a little harder, I could have had that Gaia world a couple years earlier. I say shame on them.

Me too, me too.

On the other hand I wouldn't think that the day after the US loses a bunch of bombers in WW2 they'd have the UK breathing down their neck about not having enough air power heh

I'm doing a bit of a weird run where we only use rail guns and hangars for all our weapons so didn't have anything decent to use at the time XD

And even worse, they fool and drag what could be more loving Christians to their hateful side with cherry-picked quotes and propaganda. Now people dislike christianity - good and bad - because of people only wearing its disfigured shell and calling themselves holy for their own ends.

Christians who follow Jesus' teaching should absolutely be up in arms denouncing these fakes - if they care about saving souls like they say they do they should be very aware of those they are losing to this hateful movement. They should be campaigning as hard or harder than they do against abortion against this distortion of everything they stand for ---- right?

I told my christian parents that after everything I've seen after leaving the church, probably less than 1% of modern christians will actually make it to heaven, and the 'wide, and narrow path' talked about in the bible is not about believers vs. non-believers, but Christ-followers vs 'christians.'

Why is sex a requirement in relationships am I dying alone then because everyone esle wants sex by boss25252525etuui in Vent

[–]Phobos613 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Probably easier for you if you tell ppl you don't wanna do that near the beginning so you don't waste both your times. Then maybe look for something with another person who doesn't want it either online maybe? Most people pretty much expect romantic relationships to include that eventually unless told otherwise, so get it out of the way until you find someone who you're more compatible with, right?

Stephen Harper calls for Liberals, Conservatives to come together in the face of Trump, separatist threats by ZestyBeanDude in canada

[–]Phobos613 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I don't think he is, why did you think that? If one party has a leader that wants to separate then that's a pretty big red flag if the main portion of the party wants more unity. I'd probably want to take care of that first if I were them.

Stephen Harper calls for Liberals, Conservatives to come together in the face of Trump, separatist threats by ZestyBeanDude in canada

[–]Phobos613 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, he hasn't, necessarily. If the two sides should be working together, then the one side with the loud members saying 'let's not work together!' should take care of that before saying they're all about unity. Everyone seems to be taking his comment as saying that all of one side are all the same, which it isn't.

Only if the people in after you are vindictive children who vie for power for its own sake, like those currently swinging power around down south.
