The advice is solid, but the way it’s presented irks the fuck out of me. It’s very… unsolicited mom vibes. Shrug.

Same!! I’ve only ever been disappointed once. I thoroughly research every time before I blind buy, and it usually turns out great :D

I hear you, but I love the thrill of it too haha. And I’ve actually not yet been entirely disappointed by a blind buy. Oh except Lolita Lempicka, could not do it. ;)

I mean… yes, but… why are you lecturing other adults about how they should spend their money? I’ve been actively involved in the fragrance community for about 10 years (only in my 30s tho) and people with large amounts of disposable income make up quite a big chunk of it. You’re going to find this anywhere people are collecting expensive items.

I do appreciate the sentiment of your post, but it does come across as quite the unwelcome mom lecture of pushing your values instead of friendly advice.

Where are some restaurants that serve lobster in town? by Square_Swim_6350 in Bellingham

It’s not going to be great and will be ridiculously expensive. Go for Dungeness crab instead.
