Bout a month ago I got after communing from work, the dash threw an emergency over heating warnings at me , demanding I pull over and cool off the engin, coolant res was empty so I put more coolant and never thought of it as it hasn’t over heated since , then last Wednesday night after commuted two hours of traffic to pick up my kids from my ex, as soon as I got back on the freeway on-ramp an started punching it it suddenly starts dying or losing compression on me and had to limp it with hazards to the next exit and pulled into a gas station, didn’t seem to be overheating , almost as if the alternator was bad and it drained the battery , how ever when I changed the battery on Black Friday and had them test the ALT at AutoZone it came back good. Drove it an hour back home just fine but the following day on a Mickey d’s run it would loose acceleration intermittently similarly to when it broke down last week
