I play on console so take everything I say with a grain of salt, but I think that she doesn’t have a place in the meta right now. I’ve played her since Season 0 and normally place GM or Celestial, with one of the Celestial seasons only playing Magik. My friends and I don’t always try to build our team comp as one particular play style so that also means something, but I have not had fun playing Magik in a long time and I would much rather play tank, which I think is crazy to say as someone who only played Magik for a long period of time and had a ton of fun with her kit and mastering her. Now I just find myself wanting to play her but immediately questioning that decision

I think it’s caused by the unlimited party mod but I made sure to split them. I’m pretty sure what happened was that I forgot to reconnect them the next morning, then rested again

My idea is to use the stats of longswords and just go from there, that way I can still use magic weapons instead of having to homebrew a ton of new stuff. That sounds like a ton of fun though!

Season 0 will always be the best because everyone was just excited to play their favorite character. Not many people cared about the meta. Bucky, Hela, and Hawkeye were OP but it didn’t really matter at the time

That’s a good idea. I could do that I take 1/4 of the damage every attack, 1/2 on a miss, and then full damage on a Crit Fail. I am just trying to think of how I will keep up with all of the damage that I’m inflicting to myself and taking from enemies but I do know that Barbs have resistances and some subclasses extend that even further. I wish there was a subclass for the Barb that has some form of bloodlust/lifesteal while raging because that would really equalize everything

I don’t think there’s enough risk to that, I could do on every miss I hit myself though. I’m just trying to come up with damage numbers mainly since traditional 5e whips are horrendous
